BatchData sets sights on housing data dominance
Stewart Title acquires BatchService’s real estate services businesses—remaining data analytics operations to brand as BatchData

In a move poised to reshape the real estate data landscape, real estate data and software giant PropStream—owned by Stewart Title (stock ticker: STC), a publicly traded $2 billion title insurance and real estate services company—has acquired two of its biggest competitors: BatchLeads and BatchDialer from BatchService. The acquisition, which closed this week, brings BatchService’s lead generation and real estate services under the PropStream umbrella. The BatchService’s data analytics business that Stewart Title didn’t acquire will now operate as a standalone business under the brand BatchData.
Why Stewart Title made the move
PropStream, acquired by Stewart Information Services Corporation (commonly known as Stewart Title) in 2021, is one of the leading property data and prospecting platforms in the U.S., serving investors, agents, and lenders with access to over 160 million properties. With this acquisition, PropStream adds not only the technology and intellectual property of BatchLeads and BatchDialer, but also their established user base and specialized teams. The products will continue to operate independently for now, with uninterrupted service. The teams behind BatchLeads and BatchDialer are joining PropStream to help integrate and expand the tools within PropStream’s broader platform.
“This is a pivotal moment for our company,” writes Jesse Burrell, co-founder of BatchService. “The acquisition of BatchLeads and BatchDialer by a respected industry leader like Stewart Title validates the quality of the products we've built.”
For Stewart Title and PropStream, the acquisition is a power play aimed at accelerating growth and locking in a leadership position in real estate prospecting. The addition of BatchLeads and BatchDialer helps fast-track PropStream’s ambition to become a $100 million brand. Until now, BatchLeads was one of PropStream’s biggest rivals.
“After spending time with the BatchLeads and Dialer teams, it became very clear the synergy between our two organizations to accelerate innovation in this space,” writes Brian Tepfer, CEO of PropStream. “It only made sense to formalize a partnership with BatchData to elevate data across the board.”
The deal also grants PropStream access to a dialer product for the first time—opening the door to new revenue opportunities and putting them in direct competition with platforms like Mojo Dialer and RedX in the real estate agent market.

The rise of BatchData
Founded in 2018 and based in Tempe, Arizona, BatchService rose to prominence by offering data-rich lead generation and prospecting tools. By 2025, it had grown to 125 employees.
With the sale of BatchLeads and BatchDialer, its future now centers around BatchData—an enterprise-grade data platform offering real-time access to more than 150 million U.S. properties through customizable APIs. Post acquisition, 30 employees will be left at BatchData.
Importantly, the newly inked deal makes PropStream (and by extension Stewart Title) one of BatchData’s largest customers.
“This partnership validates the quality of BatchData’s offerings and provides a strong foundation for future investment and innovation,” said Ivo Draginov, co-founder and president of BatchData, tells ResiClub.
BatchData plans to consolidate its BatchSkipTracing brand into the core platform, creating a unified offering for clients. With tighter focus, streamlined operations, and greater agility, the company sees a clearer path to becoming the leading AI-powered data backbone for proptech.

ResiClub expects BatchData to become a big force in the housing sector
Don’t bet against BatchData—that’s my gut reaction to this move.
With its lead generation and real estate services divisions spun off, BatchData can now operate with more agility. That leaner structure should enable faster decision-making and quicker innovation in response to evolving housing market data needs. This shift also reflects a broader trend: the vertical integration of tools, data, and machine learning capabilities within proptech.
Having followed this team closely, I expect them to pursue some ambitious real estate data projects in the near future. Keep an eye on them.

"Our vision for BatchData is bold," Jesse Burrell, co-founder of BatchData. "We are committed to providing the most accurate, comprehensive, and actionable real estate data available. BatchData is so much more than just data - we continue to improve proprietary machine learning algorithms, integrate new data, and package API endpoints for new business use cases. We are finding pockets of the market underserved right now as real estate tends to be a laggard with technology adoption. We are incredibly excited about the future and the enhanced value we will deliver to our BatchData customers."
