Giant homebuilder PulteGroup expands into the still-tight Cincinnati housing market

In Ohio, PulteGroup already operates in Cleveland and Columbus.

Today, PulteGroup—a homebuilder ranked No. 229 on the Fortune 500—announced it’s moving into the Cincinnati metro area housing market. PulteGroup is America’s third largest homebuilder.

"This strategic expansion into the growing Cincinnati area is a natural next step, having built market-leading businesses in other parts of the state… This expansion aligns with our goals of serving high demand, growing communities where our quality homes and customer focus can create long-term value for both residents and shareholders.”

"Cincinnati's strong economy, diverse employment base and quality of life make it an attractive market for homebuyers… We're excited to establish our presence here and look forward to becoming a trusted homebuilder in this vibrant community."

- wrote Tony Barbee, PulteGroup's North Area president, in a press release today

When it comes to inventory, the Cincinnati metro area housing market, relative to the national aggregate, is still on the tight-ish side.

And while it's far from overheating Pandemic Housing Boom levels, Cincinnati metro area home prices are still rising year-over-year.
