Doug Yearley—Toll Brothers CEO since 2010—is stepping down and being replaced by Karl Mistry
In his current role as executive vice president, a position has held since 2021, Mistry oversees Toll Brothers’ homebuilding operations throughout 15 states in the East.

On Wednesday, Toll Brothers—a luxury homebuilder with a $12.8B market cap—announced that CEO Doug Yearley will step down and transition to executive chairman. It’s effective in March.
Karl Mistry will succeed Yearley as CEO.

Yearley joined Toll Brothers in 1990 and has served as CEO since 2010 and Chairman of the Board since 2018.
The new CEO, Mistry, joined Toll Brothers in 2004 as an assistant project manager in the company’s executive training program. The homebuilder says that in 2012, Mistry was named division president for the Houston division, and in 2016 he was promoted to group president overseeing homebuilding operations in Washington, D.C metro area. In 2019, Mistry was named regional president of Toll Brothers’ Mid-Atlantic region. In his current role as executive vice president, a position Mistry has held since 2021, he oversees Toll Brothers’ homebuilding operations throughout 15 states in the East.
